PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING FIRE NOC.
Fire NOC is insisted by Aizawl Municipal Corporation through its Building Regulations for those who intend to construct a building which is 15 metres and above in height and those firms where Fire NOC is required by concerned authority. An application for NOC can be obtained from the office of Director, F&ES or through the departmental website fireservice.mizoram.gov.in and Rs. 20/- has to be paid for the application fee. After duly filling up the application form, one can submit the application by enclosing one hard copy of architectural drawing. The drawing will be examined and Provisional NOC will be issued by giving suggestion for installation of fire fighting system etc based on the guidelines given in the National Building Code of India, 2016. Final NOC is latter issued after satisfying with all the installation of firefighting system in the building/establishment. Final NOC is issued for 1(one) year and has to be renewed after every one year. Inspection of building is carried out before renewal of Final NOC to ascertain the exact condition of the fire fighting system.
